In Feng Shui terms, plants bring good Chi into the work place. They do not necessarily have to be real. If they are real they must be healthy and thriving. Broad leafed plants are best, rather than plants with thorns or prickles. Many large corporations are now seeing the benefits of Feng Shui in the office, and will place a desk plant by each PC and a floor standing plant in the corner as a 'Feng Shui' enhancer. Balance and harmony are vital in all environments.
